Venue and Accommodation
PAM 2020 will be held at the University of Oregon in the stunningly beautiful Eugene, OR, USA. The main conference will be held at the Gumwood Room in Erb Memorial Union (EMU). The main conference location is highlighted in the map shown below.
Banquet Dinner
PAM's conference dinner will take place at the
Gerlinger Alumni Lounge (GER) 201, which is also highlighted in the map shown above, on March 30, 2020. The building is based on Georgian/Colonial Revival style with
rich history.
Hotels
There is are no official conference hotels for PAM. There are several hotels around UO campus including the
Excelsior Inn,
Eugene Best Western New Oregon, the
Holiday Inn Express & Suites Eugene Downtown - University, the
Residence Inn By Marriott, the
Inn at the 5th, the
Graduate Eugene, and the
Even Hotel Eugene. We encourage conference attendees to book their hotel rooms early to ensure room availability. Other events near the University of Oregon may result in limited vacancy in local hotels.
Airport
The
Eugene Airport (EUG) is the second largest airport in the state of Oregon. EUG is served by United, American, Delta, Alaska, and Allegiant airlines. Nonstop service includes Denver, San Francisco, Salt Lake City, Seattle, Portland, Los Angeles, Phoenix-Mesa, Las Vegas, and Oakland.
Parking
Hotels near the UO campus are within comfortable walking distance of conference room. Participants staying farther away have a number of options including
bike rental,
public transportation and
parking on campus.
Sightseeing
Eugene, in particular, and Oregon, in general, is a beautiful and exciting place. Crater Lake, Columbia Gorge, and Pacific coast line are only a couple of hours drive. For more information,
